I have read countless, boring eye charts over the last four years while my husband has been in Optometry School, but recently I’ve really enjoyed reading a few eye charts that I have made.
I will never forget the incredible amount of joy and excitement that filled my husband the night he found the eye chart and tiny baby attire laying on the kitchen table.
We’ve had a lot of fun incorporating my husband’s profession into sharing our baby news with friends and family. Most people knew something was up when we handed them something to read, but I will never forget what it was like seeing their faces light up as they read the eye chart.
Here are the other eye charts I made for the grandparents, cousins, and friends. I may have gotten a little carried away, but the memories are worth it.
We are overjoyed, ecstatic, nervous, anxious, and a thousand other emotions as we think about the tiny person that’s growing inside of me. Please join us in praying for this new life and our new journey as a growing family.
