Little Pumpkin: 36 Week Bump

It’s the middle of week 36 and we are getting very anxious to meet our little pumpkin! I feel her wallering around punching, kicking, and hiccuping all throughout the day, but it’s difficult to wrap my head around knowing our little pumpkin will be in our arms very soon. The nursery is done, her clothes are washed, our hospital bags are packed, and the camera is charged and ready to go. From now until she comes may seem like an eternity, but whenever she is ready I think we are too. Well, we are as ready as first time parents could ever be.

It’s difficult to put into words the anticipation and excitement I feel awaiting her arrival. I can’t wait to see her, kiss her little cheeks, and just breathe her in as we snuggle. We are very grateful for the prayers we have received throughout our pregnancy and ask that you continue to pray over us for a safe and healthy delivery. We trust that God will bring her at the perfect time and in the perfect way.

We can’t wait to introduce you to our little pumpkin!

Nursery

Here’s a little preview of little A’s nursery. Yes, her name is still a surprise, and hopefully we can keep it that way a few more weeks! Since we decided to find out the gender, we thought it would be fun to surprise our friends and family with revealing her name once she arrives. I’m sure more goodies will be added to her room as we go, but here’s a pretty good start.

I, like most women, am a Pinterest addict. I love how there are so many ideas compiled in one place. I’ve never really considered myself a crafty person, but Pinterest helps give me a boost of where to start and how to make projects with my own flare. I started compiling things for her room and decided I wanted to try out a few projects. I recreated the three verses above her dresser in Photoshop and used scrapbook paper and good ole modge podge to make her hair bow holder. I love how sweet and girly her nursery is. Now all we need is for this sweet little girl to arrive!

Colt Newborn

I was so excited to spend the morning with some of my best friends and love on sweet baby Colt right before we moved. I loved the rich black and whites from this shoot, but I threw in some color too. Here are some of my favorites from their newborn session.

Evie

Here is sweet little Evie. I still can’t get over all that beautiful hair! Evie was so sweet to snuggle and was good as gold during her shoot. She even woke up to show those big, beautiful eyes!
