Curls, curls and more curls. I can’t get over those curls! How gorgeous is this little girl?! Even though I’ve known her since she was born and see her on a regular basis, she still takes a while to warm up. Luckily she was talking and giggling in no time and showing off her super sweet personality.
This was my first time photographing this family, and they were as sweet as could be. There were lots of giggles from their adorable kiddos! Jax had so much to say and Ella grinned all over herself. Thanks for a fun evening Wirth family!
It’s pretty awesome to be able to capture a couple who were expecting their first baby and then get to meet and photograph that new little one. Baby Leighton was my first newborn little girl. There were so many boys born back to back, it was fun to change things up with a little girl. Headbands, princess crowns, and frilly clothes-there was a lot of girly fun going on!
And the one-years-olds keep on coming! This was my first time meeting this little one-year-old, miss Kendall, and what a doll! She had just started walking about a week before her shoot, so she was still in the adorable, wobbily phase of toddling around.
She was a little shy when we started, so while she hung on to mom, I got a few close ups of those big baby blue eyes. After a few beginning shots, I knelt down to ask her if she wanted to walk over and see what else we could find. She studied me for a second and then reached over and wrapped her little fingers around my pointer finger and pulled me to a new spot for some more pictures. When little fingers grab a hold of mine, a little piece of me just melts. And if I wasn’t already smitten by this doll baby, take a look at her blowing kisses! Talk about sweet!
“Goin’ to the chapel and they’re…” Are you singing it now too? That song pops in my head every time I scroll through these photos. Alex and Hannah were a hoot! I think we laughed throughout the entire shoot. Towards the end of the shoot Alex commented, “I had no idea we would have to kiss so much!” Haha, oh Alex, get ready buddy!
